I've battled acne for 14 years now, and decided it was finally time to take a drastic action. While friends and siblings tried persuaded me to try Accutne for years, I steered clear for too long because of the side effects and risks.

 

Somewhere after college graduation life got out of control, seriously NEVER graduate if you have the means, and stress got the better of me. After trying every single product on the market besides Accutane, I saw no other option.

 

I was sick of going out in public in a full face of makeup and still being ashamed of myself. There are other people who deal with this too—many who are far worse off than I am. Everywhere social media is buzzing about positive body image, and I'm ready to see that with skin.

 

People with acne are not lazy. People with acne try as hard as they possibly can to cure it, cover it and convert it into something they could be proud of. Even if you're not staring at our blemishes, we think you are. And while we have it, we can never be the version of ourselves we want to be.

 

So join me on my journey! Read my posts, see my condition better and worse, and help me inspire. Also, I really just need an outlet to write, so what's better than blogging about my life? Thanks for reading!
